The safari lodge
The Morukuru Family Madikwe group incorporates three individual exclusive-use homesteads, located in a private concession in the southeast corner of Madikwe Game Reserve; Owner’s House, River House and Farm House. Each luxury homestead is accompanied by a private butler, host, chef, game drive vehicle, tracker and guide. The owner has created spaces where families with children of all ages can completely relax, with an overall sense of curl-up-on-the-couch comfort.

03 — Accommodation
Owner’s House, River House & Farm House
Each of the three exclusive-use houses operates individually with 8–10 staff, including your own private guide, host, butler, chef, housekeeping and babysitting (when required). The River House is within easy walking distance of Owner’s House, should guests wish to book both houses for a larger group. The Farm House is ideal for larger groups and families, formed by five luxury suites. This modern contemporary homestead offers the perfect private setting for multigenerational families.
Morukuru Family Madikwe welcomes families with children of all ages and allows children to join on game drives.

Safari experiences
Morukuru Family Madikwe offers guests as much flexibility and fluidity as possible during their stay, with activity schedules tailor-made to suit individual needs. Game drives are conducted in your private vehicle with guide and tracker, with guided Big 5 bushwalks upon request and subject to availability.
Other activities included in your stay are bird-watching, fishing, outdoor mini-adventures for junior guests, romantic starlit sleep-outs in the hide, bush breakfasts and lunches, candle-lit dinners and memorable mountaintop or riverside braais/barbeques.
